You would join our team as a Quality Assurance/Control (QA/QC)Test engineer to
support a law enforcement program involving full-lifecycle software
development activities

**Job Responsibilities:**
_As a QA/QC test engineer, you will be responsible for conducting manual tests
with various software tools and applications and clearly articulate findings,
issues, steps to replicate, and other feedback. Depending on the
activity/project you may be responsible for some or all of the following
areas:_
* Collaborate with the development team to test new features and ensure common understanding of requirements/user stories
* Work with stakeholders and end users to elicit, understand, analyze, and document feature requirements
* Design, implement, execute, and assess software quality through manual (and automated experienced) test cases to ensure product quality
* Create, update, and execute interactive tests and create associated reports
* Troubleshoot, reproduce, and log defects as needed
* Maintain system test plans and other related documentation
* Perform Static Code Analysis (SCA) and analyze results to contribute towards better code quality
* Prepare test metrics and present results in the Retrospective ceremony
* Contribute to the decomposition and flow of tickets in an agile project management system
##### **Basic Qualifications:**
* Experience - multiple levels can be accommodated:
* **Entry-level:** BS Degree + 0 years work experience OR HS/GED + 4 years work experience
* **Mid-level:** BS Degree + 2-4 years work experience or MS Degree + 0-2 years work experience OR HS/GED + 8+ years work experience
* **Senior-level:** BS Degree + 6-8 years work experience or MS Degree + 4-6 years work experience
* Experience conducting manual tests with various software tools and applications and are able to clearly articulate findings, issues, steps to replicate, and other feedback
* Working knowledge of Agile software development frameworks (Scrum and SAFe)
* Working knowledge of the following Atlassian products: Jira/Zephyr, Confluence, and Fisheye
* Working knowledge of current software testing methodologies
* US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
* Compensation varies by range

* Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Familiarity with modern software libraries like Java/Python, automated test tools like Selenium, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, microservice architectures, and container orchestration platforms like Docker.
* Previous experience supporting law enforcement clients
* Active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS clearance
