##### Job Description :
ROSEN USA, based in Houston, TX is looking for a python developer to work on a
project team responsible for developing reporting templates for a new
software. This team member will be led by the technical lead for the project,
and work collaboratively with other technical team members.
##### **Responsibilities:**
* Support implementation, development, testing and validation of client process templates in NIMA - ROSEN’s Pipeline Integrity Management System (PIMS) with Python.
* Support execution of client configurations using NIMA, in accordance to applicable client specific Scope of Work.
* Support the integration, modification and maintenance of client templates within NIMA
* Support internal clients to solve NIMA user and data issues.
* Participate in various project phases, offering support to senior staff in project tasks from acquisition to execution to ensure product deliverables meet client expectations.
* Able to interpret and dissect client Scope of Work documentation, identifying gaps between the SOW and the capabilities of ROSEN’s process templates.
* Supports ROSEN Worldwide in product development and other regions on critical projects.
##### **REQUIREMENTS** :
**_The successful candidate should have the minimum qualifications and/or
skil_ ls:**
* Proficiency in Python.
* Proven project management skills: must be able to prioritize multiple projects for different internal customers simultaneously, exceptional planning and scheduling abilities, and good communications skills to facilitate successful definition, planning, and execution of client process templates
* Individual must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal direct supervision
* Effective communication skills, both oral and written, analytical skills, and the ability to analyze a problem from various perspectives and make sound recommendations are required
* High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)
* Strong reporting skills (ability to author reports, templates, technical specifications, software user manuals, etc.)
* 5+ years’ experience with the above skills
_**Additional Skills – Not Required but Nice to Have:**_
* Front end developing experience working with Pandas, NumPy, SQL) user fillable forms (e.g. HTML, React, Dash)
* Other programming skills aside from Python (e.g. VBA)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Pipeline Integrity and/or Inline Inspection Data Analysis role(s)
* Technical knowledge of defect assessment and pipeline design (RSTRENG, Barlow’s formula, B31G, etc.)
* Experience with CSA Z662, 49 CFR 195 and 192, and related industry standards (API, ASME, NACE, PRCI, etc.)
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering majors or science/math majors
* Bi-lingual in Spanish
