##### Job Description :
The Cloud Automation Services and Tooling (CAST) team in Morgan Stanley’s
Public Cloud Transformation Services (PCTS) group require a software developer
to join their global team.
CAST’s mission is to provide tooling and services to facilitate the onboarding
of applications into their public cloud environment across all major cloud
providers, with the immediate focus being on Azure.
Although part of the Cloud programme, the team is essentially a development
team and as such we are looking for an experienced developer to help us build
the next generation of cloud automation tooling.
##### **The following skills and experience would be required to be successful
in this role:**
* 5+ years of hands-on Software Development experience
* 2-3 years of Python experience
* Experience in other languages such as Java, Typescript, etc. would be useful
* Experience in Object Oriented Design and knowledge/application of the SOLID software design principles
* Automated testing, including TDD and BDD approaches
* Exposure / familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS
* Experience / knowledge of approaches to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform in particular
* Comfortable working in a Linux environment with knowledge of basic commands, scripting, etc.
* Comfortable with Git and the workflows surrounding it (branching, PRs, etc)
* Comfortable working in an Agile and fast changing environment
* Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
