**Position:** Principal Engineer/Architect - Java
**Location:** Remote OK, but should be willing to work in EST US.
**Education:** CS / ECE BS
**Experience:** 8-14 Years
**Must have Skills:** Kubernetes, Java, GCP/AWS Microservices
**Skills in details**
* Experience building 12 factor apps;
* Cloud Native architectures;
* Message drive/Event sourcing architecture patterns;
* Ability to implement projects that have multiple automated releases a day;
* Java, Spring Boot, CQRS Framework, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Cloud (GCP Preferred), Terrraform
**Role:**
* Lead a team of offshore engineers;
* Provide architectural cover for the project;
* Work closely with customers.
**Day in life:**
* Work with Scrum master to plan.
* Provide Architectural guidance and create decision documents/white papers on architecture.
* Code critical and difficult components.
* Define CICD pipelines, ensure adherence to standards.
