Finexio is in hyper growth mode, and we are now actively seeking a Payments
Operations Manager to act as a key leader in the development and execution /
optimization of our card payment operations. We’re looking for someone with a
winning track record managing daily operations, specifically in a
fintech/payments role.
Reporting into the Director of Operations, this individual will be an integral
part of our next phase of growth; responsible for sharing strategic direction
and helping establish best practices that will shape our operational strategy
as we continue to scale as an organization. In this role, you will be
responsible for helping to manage daily workflow, lead a small team, provide
proper metrics/visibility into the team’s performance, and provide insights
into process and/or system improvements.
**Requirements**
* BA/BS or equivalent working experience
* Experience in payments or fintech
* 2+ years of leadership experience
* Proficient using Salesforce, ERP software and core banking systems
* Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data
* Excellent writer and communicator (in both written and verbal form)
* Must be a self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workloads to meet deadlines
* The ideal candidate has a “whatever it takes” attitude and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get the job done and ensure objectives are met.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* You have 3+ years of experience in payments, financial service operations, program management, or a similar type of field in a high-growth environment.
* You have 2+ years of experience with demonstrated ability to develop and lead teams in a supervisory role while maintaining a high level of internal operational excellence.
* You're an extremely effective communicator, especially with cross-functional team members and partners.
* You’re excited about building first-of-a-kind operational support for payments products with a focus on implementation and effective operations management strategies.
* You have experience working with banking partners, third-party vendors, fintech platforms, and more.
* You're a creative problem solver who runs towards a problem, owns it, uses a framework to analyze options, and drives towards a sustainable solution.
* Help own and manage critical parts of Finexio’s card processing financial institution partnerships, with a focus on developing and overseeing best-in-class partner management rooted in KPIs and partner and product alignment.
* Develop, run, and manage external card partner meetings and requests, develop and execute audit framework, and other operational aspects of the program working closely with Payments, Product, Engineering, Sales and Leadership.
* Identify future operational and product hurdles we're likely to face as our product scope expands and develop solutions.
* Flex operational know-how to help other team’s staff up and provide best-in-class examples of effective ops management.

**Compensation: $140k-190k base + equity & potential bonus.**
