##### **Minimum Qualifications:**
Six or more years of experience in a technical field, computer science,
engineering, or network systems. A degree(s) in computer science, information
technology, telecommunications, engineering, or relevant field may be
substituted per companies guidelines for certain years of experience.
##### **Preferred Qualifications:**
Knowledge of EMS/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) applications
or prior work experience in a mission-critical or controls environment.
Experience designing and/or operating network.
Knowledge of network related platforms, technologies, and protocols inclusive
of Cisco IOS, Cisco NXOS, Juniper JunOS, OSPF, BGP, Ipsec, Network Security,
Juniper Firewall Cluster, Juniper virtual chassis, Cisco Nexus VDC, Cisco
Firepower IDS/IPS, Splunk SIEM, Monitoring tool….
Juniper JNCIS/IP security/firewall and Cisco CCNP Routing-switching
certificates highly prefered
Network Automation using Ansible/Python
##### **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
· Knowledge of computers, network components, operating systems, and software
applications
· Skills in implementation of security measures for Cybersecurity
· Skill in analyzing and solving technical problems
· Skill in verbal and written communication
· Skill in communicating effectively with team members,
supervision/management, and external organizations under normal and emergency
conditions
· Skill in articulating complex, technical information to both technical and
non-technical audiences
· Skill in implementation of malware, spyware, and security measures for
Cybersecurity
· Skill in reading and interpreting diagrams and prints
· Skill in interpreting vendor manuals
· Skill in transferring knowledge to other staff
· Skill in office productivity applications (such as email, word processing,
spreadsheets, etc.)
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to balance competing and high priority work demands
##### **Work Environment:**
· Work hours are primarily spent in an office environment
· Some work hours are spent in a data center environment, which includes
exposure to below normal temperatures
· Work involves 24/7/365 call-out support on a rotating basis and respond via
text, email, phone or in-person
##### **Physical Demands:**
· Work involves frequent finger/hand manipulation in using a keyboard and
mouse
· Work may involve occasional climbing, crawling, crouching or other non-
sitting positions while accessing network equipment
· Work involves occasional walking and standing
· Occasionally lifts and carries up to 50 pounds
