**Position: Network Architect with Infrastructure

**Job Description: **
* Define and communicate network architecture goals, attributes, risks, and how they meet the requirements.
* Recommend and develop architectural design patterns/frameworks for development teams.
* Review and improve existing networking designs.
* Provide engineering, implementation, and support for WAN, LAN, WLAN, Security, and Virtual technologies.
* Communicate network architecture through presentations and documentation.
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams on new features/products.
* Collaborate with development/test/integration/support teams on implementation and verification.
* Evaluate upcoming technologies and adapt them into the network architecture.
* Create prototypes and demonstrations to evaluate new architecture/technologies.
* Provide technical leadership in software design, implementation, and testing.
**Knowledge/Skill Requirements: **
* Expert-level experience in networking design, operation, and troubleshooting.
* Extensive experience in Linux networking and routing.
* Experience with Ethernet switches and wireless access points.
* Familiarity with cellular and satellite networking systems.
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, and IP routing protocols.
* Familiarity with commercial networking equipment.
* Experience with complex Linux/Android embedded systems.
* Understanding of networking security and cryptography.
* Experience in software design on embedded systems.
* Analytical skills for problem-solving at the network and system layers.
* Experience in organizing and leading design reviews.
* Experience with web scale/container-based solutions (a plus).
* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience in Agile development process.
* Experience with AWS Cloud Computing (a plus).
**Education/Experience Requirements: **
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
* 10+ years of networking programming in Linux systems.
* 5+ years of experience in wireless, mobile, and satellite communication systems.
* 3+ years of architecture experience in complex embedded systems.
