## You will have the opportunity to solve interesting mobile problems.
Specifically, you will:
* Design, build, test, launch, monitor, and support features in our React Native mobile application built for Android and iOS to motivate our customers (aka members) to achieve better health and earn rewards.
* Deliver experiences that use the camera and other device capabilities to drive daily member engagement.
* Develop offline and fallback capabilities to support members with spotty or weak online coverage and members who have legacy handsets.
* Iterate on experiences that incorporate gamification and behavioral economics techniques.
* Enable scalability with features optimized for performance and responsiveness.
* Protect members’ privacy by following secure SDLC guidelines to maintain our HITRUST certification proudly.
* Maintain a high-quality bar that gives members a defect-free experience, allowing us to maintain or exceed our 4.8+ star rating in the Apple App Store and 4.9+ star rating in the Google Play Store.

## You might be the candidate we’re looking for.
We’re looking for someone who has:
* 2+ years of professional experience building mobile applications with React Native.
* 2+ years of professional experience troubleshooting, remediating, and learning from operational issues with a production mobile application.
* Proficiency in writing idiomatic TypeScript that sets the example for code readability, maintainability, and simplicity.
* Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests to validate the correctness of all critical code.
* Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
* A consistent track record of solving moderately to highly complex technical problems with reliable delivery of their solutions.
* Effective verbal and written communication.

Our ideal candidate has:
* 1+ years of experience building high-quality mobile applications with Android (Java or Kotlin) or iOS (Swift or Objective-C).
* Proficiency working in an agile scrum development lifecycle.
* Proficiency in interfacing with and sometimes building GraphQL APIs.
* Proficiency with state management libraries such as Redux and React Context.
* Proficiency with application monitoring tools such as Bugsnag, Crashlytics, or Sentry.
* Experience with React Native animation and camera frameworks.
* Knowledge of CI/CD automation tools.
* Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Node.js, NoSQL and Relational Databases, Search Engine infrastructure, Queues and Event-Streaming, Aptible, Docker, Data Warehouse, or Machine Vision and Learning infrastructure.
* Knowledge of mobile app security to protect highly confidential and sensitive data.
* Experience working with healthcare products and data.

Base Compensation: 110,000 - 140,000K
