We are looking for the right person to develop scalable and innovative
mobile/tablet products.
You will
• Participate in software architecture discussions, enforcing best practices,
and code quality.
• Collaborating with project managers, product owners, designers, and
engineering to create a product delivery strategy, reasonable roadmaps, and
timelines.
• Define vision and technical roadmap in order to stay efficient in executing
projects as well as flexibility to handle engineering goals and most
importantly business needs.
• Drive the technical vision and direction for the mobile organization
• Relevant skills applied: Java, Kotlin, REST, JSON, API, Objective-C, Swift,
Android Studio, Xcode, Concourse CI, Design Patterns, OOP, Unit and
Integration Testing, AWS, RDMS, NoSQL, Redis
• Work in an Agile Software Development Life Cycle and contribute to the
overall development process flow
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code for mobile platforms
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
• Contribute to engineering tasks such as coding, code reviews, rapid
prototyping to assist the team with release commitments.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Work with Product Management and UI/UX to deliver product on time according
to roadmap
• Collaborate with Frontend, Backend, and DevOps working on different layers
of the infrastructure
• Share guidance to team on technology, architecture and process
• Cultivate culture of learning, teamwork, ownership, accountability and
transparency.
• Actively learn and keep up with the latest engineering trends to sharpen
technical acumen
To be successful in the role you must have
• 4+ years of software development experience in Swift, Objective-C, Java,
Kotlin, and related languages
• Strong technical understanding of mobile development, hands-on experience
with Android and iOS development.
• Strong knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as
“touch”
• Proficient in Swift and Objective-C Proficient in multi-thread programming
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end
services
• Ability to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable &
effective workplace
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Demonstrably strong technologist with the ability to quickly grasp and fully
understand the underlying technology.
• Ability to discuss technical and product issues and resolve development
challenges with engineers.
• Strong knowledge of iOS SDK, Java, Kotlin, REST, JSON, API, Objective-C,
Swift, Android Studio, Xcode, and relevant use of Unit and Integration Testing
Additional Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
At least 1 complete mobile app, available in the Major App stores
