**What is Mayn**
Mayn is a pre-funding EdTech start-up building a subscription based digital
platform to help school age children develop life skills and confidence with a
proprietary learning logic and user experience.
Mayn course content will cover areas such as financial literacy, critical
thinking, stress management, coping skills, and many other courses that focus
on the whole child to develop empathetic, balanced, mindful, and confident
young adults.
**What we are looking for**
The Managing Director is responsible for the overall leadership and management
of the company. This includes developing and executing the company's strategic
plan, overseeing all operations, and ensuring the company's financial success.
The Managing Director will also be responsible for building and maintaining
relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and
customers.
**Managing Director Responsibilities:**
• Develop and lead fundraising process
• Develop and execute the company's strategic plan
• Oversee all operations, including product development, marketing, sales, and
customer support
• Manage the company's financial performance
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Represent the company to the public and the media
• Hire and manage senior-level staff
• Set the company's culture and values
**Who are you**
We are looking for someone to lead the launch and scaling of Mayn, initially
in Toronto and eventually across North America.
• You have a passion for education and common goal of providing children the
life skills necessary to build a better society.
• Experience with start-ups and raising capital.
• 10+ years of experience in the education or technology industry
• Proven track record of success in a leadership role
• Strong strategic and operational skills
• Excellent financial management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills alongside high EQ
