looking for an astute Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Computer

**Change Detection at BlackPrint:**
Our Change Detection product is focused on recognizing and analyzing changes
in large-scale satellite imagery over time. This empowers decision-makers with
critical insights into urban development, land usage shifts, and environmental
changes. Your role is crucial in refining our algorithms to detect these
minute changes with enhanced accuracy.
**Your Mandate:**
**Model Development & Refinement:**
* Design, develop, and optimize state-of-the-art machine learning models tailored for high precision in change detection.
* Keep abreast of latest advancements in computer vision and integrate them, ensuring BlackPrint stays ahead of the curve.
**Research & Experimentation:**
* Dive deep into a range of computer vision algorithms, understanding their strengths and weaknesses in the context of change detection.
* Spearhead experiments to ascertain algorithmic effectiveness, iterating rapidly based on results.
**Performance Analysis:**
* Meticulously benchmark model performances, drawing actionable insights to enhance accuracy and processing speed.
* Collaborate closely with the product team to align model developments with user needs and feedback.
**Data Management & Cloud Operations:**
* Design and oversee robust data pipelines ensuring smooth image processing.
* Leverage cloud platforms, especially AWS, for optimized parallel computing, and manage large-scale satellite imagery datasets.
**Skills & Qualifications You Bring:**
* Deep Expertise: Proven experience in machine learning and computer vision. Familiarity with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
* Analytical Rigor: Strong mathematical foundation, particularly in areas relevant to computer vision.
* Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS or similar platforms, particularly in large-scale data processing and ML functionalities.
* Result-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion, balancing perfectionism with pragmatism.
* Collaborative Spirit: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and translate complex technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
