ImpactMapper helps groups tell their impact stories with data and share the
stories that matter most. We have an online software platform to track and
visualize social impact and sustainability data.
We are looking for a sharp, creative, and driven developer to build
technological tools that support work with our amazing roster of clients, from
UN agencies, foundations, nonprofits, corporates and impact investors to
facilitate the communication and data visualization of their social impact. We
work with the top brands that value human rights and social justice. A few of
our awesome clients include Malala Fund, IKEA, Chanel Foundation, UNWomen,
UNDP, Oxfam, Equality Fund, Fund for Global Human Rights, etc.
Our platform:
ImpactMapper uses React/Redux on the frontend and Ruby on Rails on the backend
with a Postgres database.
The candidate we are seeking for this role should be capable of making
contributions throughout the stack after a reasonable ramp-up time. AI/ML/NLP
experience a plus.

* You must have a passion for social justice, be able to deliver exceptional work on deadline, and be able to self-manage and manage a team with other self-starters on our amazing remote team.
* You will also be a creative problem solver with great attention to detail and are able to work on complex topics and data hierarchies and make them simpler.

* Project management skills.
Skills:
Required: 5+ years experience on the frontend with React, Vue, or Angular 5+
years experience on the backend with Ruby, Java, or similar Strong SQL
knowledge RESTful API design
Bonus points if you have:
-Familiarity with the JSONAPI spec
-Have data analysis or ML experience
-Experience building internal reusable component libraries for a frontend framework CI/CD and other devops knowledge
Location:
You can work from anywhere. Preference for this role will be given to
candidates in timezones GMT-7 to GMT-3.

This is a PT time moving to full-time position

Equity is available for right candidate
Pay: FT up to $115,000 depending on experience with the possibility of equity
for FT and right candidate
