WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Wonder Sciences is currently seeking an experienced and visionary technical
leader to join its rapidly growing team as the lead developer of the team
building the Wondermed platform. This is a full-time and highly visible
position. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing the best user
experience possible for the mental health care of our patients, well-versed in
modern technical stacks, and have strong technical and interpersonal skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

On a day-to-day basis, the lead developer will lead the engineering team,
engage in cross team collaboration with other departments, and drive
technology-based outcomes across the organization.

Additionally, you will:

-> Manage the technical roadmap for the organization.
-> Manage relationships with our technology partners.
-> Provide mentorship to the engineering team.
-> Coordinate cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and product teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
-> Plan API endpoints for new user-facing features
-> Plan data model and DB for new user-facing features

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

-> 8+ years of experience working on consumer web-based applications with modern development frameworks and platform technologies.
-> Proficiency in Node.js, React.js, TypeScript, SQL databases and infrastructure platforms like AWS or GCP.
-> Self-directed, requiring minimal supervision with the ability to think holistically around engineering challenges.
-> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-> Experienced in design and implementation of app architectures and code that is scalable, and performant.
-> Solid understanding of agile development practices and lean software development principles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

-> Experience with implementing analytics pipelines and HIPAA-compliant architectures.
-> Experience in mobile application development.
-> Previous experience working in healthcare.
-> Previous startup experience in a management role.
-> Personal and professional interest in addressing issues found within the healthcare system.
