##### Job Description :
Working within a small IT team you will have a wide variety of
responsibilities working with every team in the company. The responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
· Monitoring and maintaining the company’s main website: www.acis.com, as well
as ancillary internal and external-facing websites
· Working with our web designer to implement changes to look and feel of the
website
· Adapting the website to provide greater functionality to internal and
external customers
· Integrating the external and internal websites with other systems such as
our CRM and payment processors
· Developing knowledge of CRM system
· Developing our platforms with security, performance and maintainability in
mind
· Growing and learning as a member of an experienced developer team
##### **What We’re Looking For:**
· Understanding of OOP languages, especially Python
· Experience building REST microservices – ideally using Flask
· Front-end skills – Javascript required, knowledge of SASS, Bootstrap or
webpack a plus.
· Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
· Awareness of DevOps best practices and CI/CD experience a plus
· Operating systems – Core knowledge of Linux (or other Unix-based OS) as well
as a working knowledge of Windows machines
· Familiar with use of Git/version control
##### **Required Qualifications:**
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field and preferred 2 - 3 years of relevant
work experience
· Experience building database-driven website functionality from wireframes or
other design directions
· Experience analyzing and transforming high level business requirements into
functional code
· Understanding of application development methodologies and project
management processes
· Good interpersonal skills
· Willingness to collaborate with team members, placing the organization’s
project goals first
· Ability to work independently when needed
· Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies, programming language
features and modern best practices
· Highly self-motivated and directed with attention to detail
· Bonus skills: Rudimentary understanding of client-server architecture and
networking as applicable to a web server is a plus!
