Part-time/volunteer/internship programming experience is a must
-Development experience with web application backend languages (PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.)
-Knowledge of software development frameworks, such as server-side MVC (e.g. Rails, Symfony)
-Background in SQL and relational databases
-Background in HTTP API design
-Experience with React, React Native, Redux, and Webpack
-Experience with continuous integration and unit testing
-Experience with AWS

In This Role, You’ll Get To…
* Work as a backend software engineer, while also teaming up with others who work in various stacks on our team
* Partner with our frontend team that writes for both mobile and web in React + React Native
* Build the GraphQL and cloud infrastructure that powers our app
* Work with the data we store in MySQL and Solr on AWS
* Get started with deploying tested, peer-reviewed code to production as early as your first day!
