##### Job Description :
**Responsibilities:**
* ️ ** ** Design, build and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
* ️ Work with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders across the company to bring new features and products to MealPal users
Collaborate with developers who work on applications and set best practices
for backend and frontend development across the company
* ️ Work with data team and product design to understand users and address their needs
**Requirements:**
* ️ Computer science degree
* ️ Familiarity with strongly typed or dynamic typed languages. Ideally, you’ve practiced with some of these languages: Ruby on Rails, Python, Javascript, Java, C# or C++
* ️ Have knowledge of data structures, databases and operating systems
* ️ Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
* ️ Strong analytical skills
* ️ Eager to study current software engineering practices
* ️ Ability to work in fast-paced environment
* ️ Interested in taking full ownership of the development lifecycle by designing, building, and operating applications
* ️ Empathy for your customers, be they users, or co-workers
**Compensation:**
