**Must be local, 1-2 days oniste each week**

**Need 10/10 comms**

**Must have a strong foundation in Python programming and proficiency in
using Blender. You should also have a good understanding of 3D graphics
principles and workflows. Additionally, knowledge of computer graphics
libraries, such as OpenGL or OpenCV, can be beneficial for certain tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective
communication abilities are also important in this role. Auto CAD is a nice to
have but not a must have.**

** _Job Description_**

Python Developer with Blender experience. Specializes in using the Python
programming language to develop applications, tools, and scripts specifically
for the Blender software. Blender is a powerful open-source 3D creation suite
that is widely used for creating computer-generated imagery, animations,
visual effects, and interactive 3D applications.

** _Responsibilities_**

* Blender Scripting: Developing Python scripts and add-ons to extend Blender's functionality, automate repetitive tasks, and create custom tools for artists, animators, and designers.
* 3D Modeling and Animation: Collaborating with artists and animators to develop Python-based workflows and tools that enhance the 3D modeling and animation process in Blender.
* Integration and Pipeline Development: Building and maintaining Python-based systems and tools that facilitate data exchange and integration between Blender and other software applications used in the production pipeline, such as rendering engines, game engines, or simulation software.
* UI/UX Development: Designing and implementing user interfaces (UI) and user experience (UX) enhancements for Blender using Python scripting, making the software more user-friendly and efficient for the creative team.
* Performance Optimization: Identifying and optimizing Python scripts and algorithms to improve performance and speed up rendering, simulation, or other computationally intensive tasks in Blender.
* Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: Investigating and resolving issues, bugs, or errors related to Python scripts and Blender's integration with other software components, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.
* Documentation and Collaboration: Creating documentation, tutorials, and examples to support other developers, artists, and users in effectively utilizing Python and Blender. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including artists, animators, and software developers, to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
