iOS Developer - Hard of Hearing Application
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join our team and
contribute to the development of a groundbreaking application designed
specifically for the hard of hearing community. As an iOS Developer, you will
play a crucial role in creating an innovative mobile solution that enhances
communication and accessibility for individuals with hearing impairments.
Strong skills in C++, Objective-C, Swift, and Codecs are essential for this
role.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement the iOS application for the hard of hearing community.
* Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reliable code using C++, Objective-C, and Swift.
* Utilize Codecs to optimize audio and video processing for improved communication experiences.
* Implement user-friendly interfaces and intuitive user experiences that are accessible to individuals with hearing impairments.
* Integrate with various APIs and third-party frameworks to enhance application functionalities.
* Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the application's stability and performance.
* Stay up to date with the latest iOS development trends, best practices, and advancements in accessibility technology.
* Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to brainstorm ideas, solve problems, and iterate on application features.
* Optimize application performance for a range of iOS devices and screen resolutions.
* Troubleshoot issues reported by users and provide timely resolutions.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven experience developing and shipping iOS applications.
* Strong proficiency in C++, Objective-C, and Swift programming languages.
* Experience working with Codecs for audio and video processing.
* Solid understanding of iOS frameworks, including Core Audio, Core Animation, and UIKit.
* Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and best practices for creating inclusive applications.
* Knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and ability to implement intuitive user interfaces.
* Proficient understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
* Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in developing applications that cater to users with hearing impairments or accessibility needs.
* Familiarity with speech recognition and speech-to-text technologies.
* Knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication and audio streaming protocols.
* Understanding of networking concepts and RESTful API integration.
* Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
