**The Role:** We're seeking a talented and highly motivated Engineer to join
our Infrastructure and Application Support team. Solve interesting technical
challenges in the areas of distributed high-performance computing for a highly
available cloud environment. Candidate is willing to explore new tools &
technologies to meet the product demands.
This person will report directly to the regional support manager responsible
for application support on these systems and will work closely with the global
team contributing to the quality of our support.
**The Team:** The team is responsible for ensuring that the systems are up
and participate in investigation and resolution of issues that customers face.
In addition to that it is expected to identify areas of improvement and
optimization and remediate them by automating tasks and implementing out of
the box solutions.
**The Impact:** This role is critical to ensure the wagon keeps running. The
team ensures the smooth working of the infrastructure and helps in resolving
client issues in a timely manner. Customer satisfaction matters a lot and the
person in this role will ensure that happens.

_**What we are lookin for:**_
=Minimum 3 years of work experience in an Application Support role.
=Knowledge of operating systems, especially Windows and Linux is a must.
=Must have fundamental knowledge of networking basics and topology. Should be
able to understand the basic concepts around Load Balancers and taking servers
in and out of farms.
=Must have fundamental working knowledge of SQL Server, SQL, and RDBMS
principles.
=SQL database query plan analysis and monitoring is preferred.
=Ideally familiar with monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Centreon
and Monolith, DotCom or any other tool.
=Good shell scripting experience is a plus. The ability to use python
scripting is an advantage.
=Experience in reading and debugging .Net code and working knowledge of REST
API preferrable.
=Must be knowledgeable in SDLC and experience in raising development bugs –
including priority assessment, high quality analysis, and detailed
investigation. Understanding of agile methodology, a plus.
=Knowledge of AWS/CI-CD and some of its technologies such as Git,
Elasticsearch, EC2, Redshift, etc is an advantage.
=This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United
States.
