**Job Title: Python Cloud Engineer HYBRID ROLE (5 days a Month onsite)**

**Job Description**
There will be 5 positions we will be hiring for we will track them on this
role. The goal to have 3 offers' accepted in the month of July.
Interview Process: I will screen all candidates sent over, and if they are a
match then I will send to Heather and we will set up the interview from there
without a prior manager resume review. I'm mentioning this because we really
do need the best of the best candidate wise. Please do not send any candidates
you are on the fence about.
**Position Details:**
They are looking to a hire 5 different Cloud Engineers, 4 pretty senior level,
and 1 being not as senior is ok.
The preference is to hire the senior candidates first so please start there.
They want a candidate who is really strong in Containerization, someone who
has skills in Kubernetes.
They also need someone who has Python programming, someone who can build
API's, someone who has some Django exp.
Will need some AWS Cloud experience as well (no Azure)
Will be working on IAC in Terraform, need to have.
CI/CD experience is nice to have.
**Selling Points:**
This is the build out of a large team, they will be scaling thousands of
applications and deploying the cloud. Will be a long-term engagement, chance
to grow within the firm.
**The Role**
As a Principal Cloud Engineer, you will apply your strong Cloud experience to
develop solutions in support of development squads. This position involves
working on an exceptionally hardworking team whose job is to build platforms
and solutions in support of cloud journey. The ideal candidate for this
position will have a strong background in cloud technologies and the ability
to work in a fast-paced agile environment. They will be able to navigate and
mange technical complexities while developing secure and scalable solutions
for our customers.
**The Expertise and Skills You Bring**
BS degree in computer science preferred with 5+ years of working knowledge in
cloud and related technologies
Experience with AWS services, IAM, Networking, and CloudFormation, Azure
experience as a plus
Skilled in Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code
Proficiency with CI/CD tools and implementing pipelines
Experience with building secure cloud solutions
Proficient communication skills with an ability to present to both technical
and non-technical team members
Understanding of how to build self-service solutions to be used by development
teams
Preferred experience in retail financial markets or another highly regulated
industry
You enjoy finding opportunities to innovate and take thoughtful risks to get

You are intellectually curious and love learning new skills and capabilities,
e.g. new Cloud services
You enjoy supplying to the success of your team while solving difficult
technical problems
