THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated, creative and passionate VP of Marketing to
join our vibrant team. This person will develop and drive our marketing
strategy across our online DTC and expanding retail business. The candidate
will own all marketing efforts including product marketing, channel marketing,
performance marketing and brand marketing.
This role is ideal for a hands-on team builder with a strong digital and
product marketing background, along with at least some exposure to
retail/channel marketing. The successful candidate must be highly ROI-driven,
proactive, and loves leading ambitious individuals to drive customer growth
through both a direct online channel and a high-growth retail channel
(physical and online). Analytical problem-solvers that can think strategically
about scalable and repeatable growth - yet are willing to roll-up sleeves, get
tactical and “build” - will particularly enjoy this role. Obsessing about
customer psychology and retail and online experience with a first-principles
mindset is a must. Experience in growth stage consumer or consumer medical
device companies is a huge plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Conceive and execute an integrated marketing strategy, with focus on product
marketing, performance/digital marketing and retail channel marketing
Build and lead a small team of ambitious & passionate individuals to drive
demand and scale the Audicus consumer business
Lead our growth hacking/marketing efforts to continuously test and optimize
tactics, messaging, pricing, promotions, lead capture, etc. to improve ROI
Direct collaboration with our Sales, Product, Audiology and Customer
Experience teams
Develop and execute omni-channel marketing strategy for our physical and
online retail channels.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
15+ years of experience in strategic and tactical customer-facing B2C roles
(Experience in sales or product is a big plus)
Built and led successful marketing teams.
Hands-on experience in product marketing, performance marketing (paid media),
and retail marketing
Highly metrics-driven, having built up and optimized funnels and analytics
Early-stage startup experience, preferably in health/consumer technology
Needs to be comfortable in a fast-paced in environments where resources are
constrained and therefore creativity, tenacity and methodical, hands-on
problem solving are a must
High confidence in the role, with strong empathy for our end-customers and
team
Compensation range: $170-225K
