Our Head of Finance will be a senior leader of our team. You will work
collaboratively with and serve
as a key advisor to the CEO as well as external counsel and commercial
partners.
Responsibilities
● Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables,
payroll, and tax
preparation
● Gather financial data for analysis and forecasting with respect to profits,
trends, costs, and
compliance
● Coordinate the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports
● Lead communication with external counsel, auditors, and other third parties
● Drive the preparation of SEC filings, such as annual financial reports,
offering circulars, Blue
Sky, and other SEC filings
● Manage our Board of Directors including setting meetings and taking minutes
● Primary owner of our legal agreements, commercial contracts, and compliance
efforts
● Manage vendor relationships
● Serve as a financial advisor to the CEO for strategic planning purposes
Requirements
● 10+ years of relevant experience
● Plus: Experience working with the SEC and FINRA and knowledge of Regulation
CF and
● Proactive approach with practical business judgment
● Strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills and ability to manage
many cross-functional
projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
● High level of personal drive and desire to learn, develop skills, and expand
responsibilities
