Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to oversee a global company. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand management, speak
Mandarin and have experience in Sino-American corporate structures. This role
requires exceptional leadership skills, technical support and business
development skills.
Responsibilities:
* Establish the U.S. team from the ground up, including office location selection, setup and recruitment.
* Develop and implement management systems and processes.
* Plan and execute local market activities such as trade shows, user meetups, KOL meetings, and media events.
* Establish and maintain offline product display points, including opening the company's U.S. office to interested customers for product experience.
* Provide user training and high priority customer support locally, while most customer service tasks are handled by the team in Shenzhen.
* Develop offline channel partnerships and expand into retail and educational channels.
* Collect market and user feedback through various channels to continuously improve our products and services.
* Lead the team to enhance the localization of x Tool and Makeblock brands in the U.S. market. In addition, act as a bridge between the U.S. and China teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
* Experienced in general management, sales, marketing and operation in the high-end hardware or premium electronic consumer goods industry, with 8 to 15 years related work experience.
* Highly self-motivated with strong capability in team building and business development.
* Passionate about our products and aligned with the company's values.
* Pragmatic and willing to roll up sleeves and work hands on as needed.

* Deep understanding of the U.S. small business and DIY enthusiast communities. In addition, experience in expanding and managing local teams and developing market strategies.
* Must be based in California or willing to relocate.
* A bachelor's degree or higher is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary: Competitive base salary with a potential increase of 20-50%, negotiable based on experience and performance. Total package is 300K to 500K.
* Incentives: Includes commission, bonus, equity, and other benefits such as vacation and health insurance.
