Over the course of the COVID19 pandemic, we've worked closely with a small
group of businesses to hone our platform, as they've engaged with thousands of
regulars. Now, we're hiring a full stack Lead Engineer to solidify and further
develop our platform as we enter our next growth phase.
**Your Role**
At Locasaur you'll lead the development of the next generation of our mobile
applications for customers and businesses, and help establish the engineering
best practices and procedures that will form the foundation of our dev org as
we grow.
We're looking for an engineer who can build from scratch, wear many hats, and
wants to make a jump into a role that affords them all the responsibilities
and opportunities that come with joining an early stage team. Ideal candidates
are just as comfortable chasing down time-sensitive bugs as they are carrying
out feature sprints, and they're excited to work closely with both non-
technical team members and users to translate feedback into a product roadmap
and execute on it.

**Great Candidates…**
Have 3+ years of experience as a full stack software engineer. Bonus points if
you’ve worked with the frameworks in our tech stack (see below).
Have experience building within cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP,
Azure, Vercel, etc).
Are not afraid to speak their mind and embrace debate, critique, and question,
as part of a healthy product-building process.
Want to work with a product that is a high-touch, integral part of its users'
days.
Enjoy collaborating with different personalities and attacking challenges in a
group setting.
Care about their favorite restaurants, shops, and service providers! They
enjoy both being a regular, and finding new favorite spots to try.
**Responsibilities:**
Write easy-to-understand, maintainable code that can scale with the company.
Take ownership of real-time app maintenance and quality assurance for our
businesses.
Help plan, execute, and release product iterations for both mobile- and web-
based components.
Put into place best practices for scalable, agile development.
**Location:**
Locasaur is nominally based in NYC, but we're remote-friendly, with an eye
towards re-establishing a dedicated workspace towards the middle of 2022,
dependent on the COVID19 situation.
