time each week. Our AI agents enable teams to effortlessly track, manage and
monitor order and delivery information for purchases across all of their jobs
– ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and without hours of
tedious, repetitive work.
Over $600b of materials were purchased for US construction and interior design
job sites last year largely through manual, inefficient processes. By
automating procurement management and tracking, we unlock the potential to:

* Reduce delays, optimize material spend, and streamline invoicing and paperwork.
**The Role 📱 💻**
As the first non-founder engineering hire, you’ll be a critical part of our
company’s future. You’ll work with our CEO and CTO and sit at the intersection
of product, strategy and growth.
* **You’ll shape technical strategy and develop and ship solutions.** As part of our team, you’ll move fast and ship. Some of your responsibilities include:
* Improve the performance and UI of our current AI / ML tooling (parse, track, draft, and chat)
* Architect, document and lead the development of our chrome extension
* Advise on and implement key product & infrastructure decisions
* Develop, iterate on, and maintain scalable product solutions
* **Contribute in a ton of other ways** to a scrappy founding team building the future of construction and design procurement!
**Who you are 👍**
* **Experience building full-stack web applications.** You have designed and built performant, scalable applications, have expertise in developing APIs, & deploying and scaling distributed systems.
* 2-4 years of full-stack (frontend + backend) development experience
* Adept with Python (our web app is Django + Angular)
* **Nimble, fast, and entrepreneurial.** A proactive jack of all trades who is excited to analyze problems at a macro-level and then roll their sleeves up and execute at the micro-level, helping the whole company move faster and build better. You have experience owning software development life cycles and driving technical projects
* **Analytically rigorous, strategic and organized.** While logical, thorough, detail-oriented, a clear communicator, and a problem solver, you also move fast and efficiently

* **Scrappy.** You find ways to magnify your impact with less.
* **Love construction and design.** You either have some prior knowledge about the construction and design industries, or are eager to learn and become an expert in how the industry works.
