##### Job Description :
Pacific Data Integrators (PDI) is a rapidly growing cloud data management
services firm with headquarters in the United States, Canada and India. We are
a Platinum Partner to Informatica, one of the world’s industry leaders
offering data integration products.
##### **Responsibilities:**
* Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop front end applications and the ontology (data model) and data pipelines supporting the applications.
* Implement data transformations to derive new datasets or create ontology objects necessary for business applications.
* Monitor and debug critical issues such as data staleness or data quality
* Improve on performance of data pipelines (latency, resource usage)
* Implement operational applications using Foundry Tools (Workshop, Quiver, and Slate)
* Implement data visualizations using Foundry Tools (Quiver and Contour).
* Maintain applications as usage grows and requirements change.
##### **Minimum Requirements:**
* Between 6 to 8+ years of experience in data engineering and building application
* Experience in Python/PySpark
* Experience in Typescript (Preferred) or Javascript
* Experience in building applications or dashboards using no- and low-code tools
##### **Coding Skills:**
* Python – complete language proficiency
* SQL – proficiency in querying language (join types, filtering, aggregation) and data modeling (relationship types, constraints)
* PySpark – basic familiarity (DataFrame operations, PySpark SQL functions) and differences with other DataFrame implementations (Pandas)
* Typescript – experience in TypeScript or Javascript
* Application building – working with no- and low-code tools to query databases, define variables, filters, cross-filters, responsive front-end and user based applications.
##### **Frameworks and Conceptual Familiarity:**
* Databases – familiarity with common relational database models and proprietary instantiations, such as SAP, Salesforce etc.
* Git – knowledge of version control / collaboration workflows and best practices
* Agile – familiarity with agile and iterative working methodology and rapid user feedback gathering concepts
* UX design – knowledge of best practices and applications
* Data literacy – data analysis and statistical basics to ensure correctness in data aggregation and visualization
##### **Experience:**
* Python: 3 years (Required)
* JavaScript: 2 years (Required)
