Who We Are
BlokPax is a revolutionary step forward for the collectibles industry that
digitizes ownership of real-world collectibles into an NFT (“Vault Tokens”)
and combines this with the thrill of the “breaking” experience to democratize
the process of building the universe of tradeable Vault Tokens.
Over the past decade, breaking sports cards has exploded in popularity, along
with the card collecting hobby in general. By some estimates the global
collectible card market is now in excess of $5 billion.
Blokpax NFTs can be either redeemed for the actual underlying card or kept in
NFT form so it can be traded either on third-party services such as OpenSea or
Rarible, or, in the future on the BlokPax site itself.
In addition to creating a new community of breakers on the blockchain, the
goal of this project is to bring increased liquidity and transparency to the
collectibles space by letting collectors trade the rights to a card in a
trustless way on the blockchain.
Our Roots
BlokPax was launched in 2021 by the partners of CKMP Fund LLC. CKMP Fund has a
successful 13-year track record building profitable, sustainable businesses
that benefit from an ecosystem of talent and experience in e-commerce, digital
marketing and operations. Our portfolio companies include companies like
LoudDoor, Storylift, Asio Gear, and others. Our companies are unique in that
they are wholly owned and self-funded. This ownership structure gives us the

This opportunity is perfect for a talented engineer looking to have a
significant role in charting the technology path for our vision as well as
building skills and capabilities in blockchain technology. Blockchain
experience is not required, but we are eager to find talented additions to our
team who have a desire to grow in this fast-growing field.
Who are We Looking For?
A Full-Stack Developer that is a self-starter, takes initiative, and thrives
in a fast-paced environment. You must have a thirst for knowledge and a desire
to stay current with industry best-practices and technologies, in addition to
the following preferred skills:
• 3-5 years of web application development experience
• Experience building and maintaining production quality websites and
applications Experience building applications using PHP
• Javascript experience using modern front-end frameworks (Vue, React,
Angular) Experience integrating with 3rd party services
• Experience with the Ethereum ecosystem, Solidity, or other blockchain
languages a significant plus, but is not required.

Responsibilities
Build out well-tested backend systems for serving our core marketplace
features
Shepherd products and features from designs and specifications to live
deployments
Collaborate in Articulating a long-term technical direction and vision for
maintaining and scaling our web and mobile platforms
Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple,
easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern tools
Collaborate and problem-solve with other team members (both for Blokpax and
other portfolio companies) on design techniques and coding standards.
Maintaining existing applications (bug fixes, feature updates/improvements,
etc) Building new websites, applications, and marketing funnels
BONUS SKILLS
In addition to the requirements above if you have any experience with any or
all of the following, we want to hear from you!
Laravel Framework v5 or newer
Solidity, Rust or other blockchain programming languages
Golang application/service development Automated testing (TDD, integration
testing, etc) Open-source project contributions
Statistical Analysis (data mining, correlation analysis, machine learning,
etc.)
Relational Database management (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, etc.) REST API
