BayNova is seeking full stack C# .NET/Angular developer to support our Federal
Government Customer on an awarded 5-year Contract. This is a fully remote /
work from role and must be performed within the United States.
This role will support two internal facing web applications, with full
responsibility for design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Analyzes, devises, and modifies procedures to solve complex business problems
for critical web apps that have a relatively small internal user base.
The position will support projects such as data quality dashboards and a
progressive web app for aircraft inspections. You’ll have a lot of
independence and work directly with customers to identify requirements, fix
bugs, and develop new features. The application team is relatively small,
which means working solo or with another developer or two on a regular basis
and taking on some roles that would be delegated out on larger teams. Our
small team is relatively nimble by government standards. Strong communication,
organization, and task prioritization skills are needed. Most of your time
will be coding in JavaScript, Angular, and C# with HTML and CSS skills
required as well.
**Job Duties:**
* Work with customers to develop new features, identify and fix bugs, and maintain codebases for existing web applications.
* You’ll be mostly working in JavaScript, Angular, C#, and SQL. There’s a bit of GIS work with Esri software, FME, and a sprinkle of python that can be learned on the job training. Some projects are on older versions of Angular and .NET with plans to update apps to latest.
* Develop back end RESTful services (C# .NET WebApi, Entity Framework)
* Create responsive front end UI, adhering to high user accessibility standards
* Integrate security standards at all levels of development
* Write technical and user documentation
* Deploy code to test and production servers
**Key Tasks, Qualifications, and Certifications:**
* Experience in .Net programming – C#, ASP .Net, MVC, Entity Framework
* Experience in JavaScript and common JS libraries e.g. jQuery, Angular, AngularJS, or comparable frameworks.
* Familiarity with RDBMS platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle
* Software Development & Project Tools such as Git and Jira
* Strong Analytical and Communication Skills
* Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities
* Experience with Atlassian tools for project management, issue tracking
* Knowledge of GIS and FME is a plus
* Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder with 3+ years' residency
