##### Job Description :
We are seeking a highly-skilled and motivated FSE/Software Developer/Tester
(Contractor) to join our client project team. As a FSE/Software
Developer/Tester, you will be responsible for the development and execution of
test plans to manage project requirements. You will also be responsible for
the design, development, and maintenance of automation test scripts for both
web and mobile applications, as well as developing and executing API endpoint
test scripts. Accessibility testing will also be required to ensure 508
compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience with various programming
languages, automated testing tools, and pipeline technologies.
##### **Responsibilities**
* Develop and maintain Test Plans.
* Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts for mobile and web applications.
* Design, maintain, and deliver automaton reports to all stakeholders.
* Ability to test manually on web and mobile applications.
* Develop, execute, and maintain API endpoint test scripts.
* Setup and maintain CI of automated scripts.
* Escalate issues to appropriate team members.
* Responsible for creating gap analysis in testing coverage.
* Responsible for product quality.
* Perform accessibility (WCAG/508) testing on mobile and web applications.
* Develop and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications against provided documentation and design guides.
* Identify, report, and verify defects in the application under test and defects that are against industry standards and best practices.
* Responsible for identifying problem areas and proactively creating testing approaches.
* Responsible for gathering testing requirements and creating regression suites.
* Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes. Automation (Unit testing, e2e testing, CI/CD automation, some coding experience is needed here. Python/TS/JS/etc.)
* CI/CD knowledge or diagnose failing tests in pipeline (experience with Jenkins/GitHub Actions/AWS CodePipeline/or some sort of automated pipeline technology).
* API testing experience (Leveraging Swagger, Postman or Insomnia for testing API endpoints.
* Managing requirements and drawing up test plans for the requirement or feature
* 508 or accessibility testing experience (Using the ANDI tool for web based apps, or being a 508 Certified Trusted Tester).
##### **Requirements**
* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience and certifications will also be considered.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
* Experience with test automation frameworks and tools for unit testing and end-to-end testing.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with technologies like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
* Familiarity with API testing using tools like Swagger, Postman, or Insomnia.
* Knowledge of accessibility testing standards and experience with tools like ANDI or 508 Certified Trusted Tester certification is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
* US Citizen who has resided in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years
