### Job Description
We’re excited to meet candidates with a broad set of technical skills who are
highly cross-functional and eager to solve a wide range of engineering
challenges.
The ideal candidate will not only implement designs into fully functional
features, but will also ensure the robustness of our web infrastructure,
including CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and tooling. They will work within a
yarn workspace monorepo environment, utilizing TypeScript. They'll be
responsible for the development and operational aspects of our platform.
### Responsibilities
* Build!
* Lead planning and implementation of multiple complex projects
* Translate designs into high-quality code, utilizing existing components and creating new, reusable components as needed
* Develop and maintain features in a NextJS application, ensuring high performance across client and server sides
* Manage and optimize our GitLab CI/CD pipeline and Vercel deployments for continuous integration and delivery
* Upgrade and maintain dependencies in a monorepo setup
* Write robust unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright
* Continuously improve our processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team
* Ensure high availability and performance
### Must-Have Skills
* Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment deployments
* Experience with monorepo tooling, ideally using yarn, npm, or pnpm workspaces
* Familiarity with an end-to-end test tool such as Cypress or Playwright
* An eye for design and attention to detail creating customer-centric interfaces. Co-ownership and collaboration with designer
* Track record of shipping high-quality products and leading projects at scale
* Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
* Experience shipping fast, reliable, real-time applications using modern development tools
* Ability to improvise and develop creative solutions when common approaches fail
* Strong value of pragmatism in times of uncertainty
### Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience with GraphQL
* Proficiency in TypeScript
* Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices
