Cordura Labs is seeking a Founding Software Engineer who will partner closely
with our serial-founders to develop the next evolution of collaboration
tooling for distributed teams. This is a unique, fast-paced, green-field
opportunity to make a material impact on an early-stage product’s trajectory.

organizing work conversations and keeping you focused on what matters most.
**emdash** integrates video conferencing, chat messaging, and knowledge
management solutions into a single, easy to use application. Teams using
**emdash** can more effectively conduct team meetings, collaborate with
customers, and make decisions in real-time while keeping everyone in the loop.
Cordura Labs was founded in the Spring of 2022 by Neville Bowers and Phil
Zigoris. Neville and Phil have worked together for over a decade and bring a
combined 30+ years of hands-on technology and startup experience to their
latest venture. Prior to Cordura Labs, Neville founded Rimeto, an enterprise

**Job Responsibilities**
* Implement front-end application features using TypeScript, React, and other relevant technologies.
* Proactively identify and drive improvements to our codebase, product, systems, and tech stack.
* Collaborate closely with our founders and materially contribute to product strategy team discussions.
* Give and solicit feedback to/from teammates and customers with a relentless focus on product improvement.
**Job Qualifications**
* Must hold an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical field from an accreditied institution, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience.
* 4+ years of professional (full-time) software engineering experience with a proven bias for code execution.
* Must have an exceptional eye for UI/UX details.
* Must have a strong background in UI development best practices.
* Must be energized by the challenges of an early-stage startup environment: green field product opportunities, difficult trade-offs, and ambiguous and frequently changing roles and responsibilities.
* Familiarity with TypeScript and React is a plus.
**Location**
We are located in the Bay Area and expect team members to convene in person
1-2 times per month in San Francisco.
