**About the Role**
As Founding Full Stack Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead product
engineering for one of the most technically ambitious startups and radically
improve global computation. 🚀 You will collaborate closely with the CEO and
CTO to lead development of web app for our product. Your responsibilities will
include overseeing the implementation of the product's backend, frontend,
databases, accounts, analytics, etc. While we do not expect you to be an
expert in all of these areas, we are seeking a generalist with a high-level
understanding who is eager to learn and grow in the role, and to expand the
team as needed to cover all necessary competencies.
You will begin your role as an individual contributor, responsible for
implementing the first version of the product and establishing the foundation
of the tech infrastructure. As you gain more experience and expertise in the
role, you will have the opportunity to grow and lead the product engineering
team, playing a critical role in shaping the future of Astrus.

**What you will do**
* Lead the end-to-end web implementation of Astrus. The mockup can be found here. You will work closely with the CEO and CTO to ensure that the web app meets the needs of our users and aligns with our business goals.
* Collaborate closely with the AI team, to ensure our AI engine is seamlessly integrated into the web app. The CTO will work on and lead the AI Team, while you will work on and lead the Product Engineering Team.
* Design and implement the core web infrastructure, including the backend, frontend, databases, accounts, and analytics, among others. You will oversee the development team and ensure that the product is delivered on time and to the highest standard.
* Participate in product discovery with the CEO and CTO, including conducting customer interviews and product testing. You will use the insights gained to inform product development and ensure that the product meets the needs of our users.
* Take ownership over product delivery, implementing agile delivery practices to ensure fast product iterations.
**Who you are**
* You are aligned with our core values, which you can find here, and are excited about our mission.
* You have a proven track record of building fully functional web applications using modern frameworks such as JavaScript, Python, React, Electron, etc.
* You possess a general understanding of cloud services, databases, authentication, analytics, and security, and have hands on experience working with these technologies.
* You have a keen eye for UI/UX design and are passionate about creating products that are not only visually appealing but also valuable and user-friendly.
* Bonus points for having an interest in electrical engineering, circuits or semiconductors. However this is not required as the core electrical engineering behind Astrus is relatively simple.
