Pencil is a 3D product design platform for fashion, jewelry and accessories
brands.
We're creating a world where everyone designs, collaborates and creates
directly in 3D.
We launched in December 2023 and targeted jewelry as our beachhead strategy.
We've grown quickly and we've raised pre-seed funding from VC's and angels.
We're looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial and driven senior engineer to
join our team and help us scale through our next stage of growth.
As an early employee of Pencil you'll have an opportunity to shape the
business from the earliest stage and play an outsized role in the growth and
long term vision of Pencil.
You're an experienced full-stack engineer who is comfortable with three.js, 3D
modeling and CAD, but more importantly you have a growth mindset and you're
excited by the challenges and success that being in a fast growing start-up
will bring.
**What we 're looking for:**
You love building and you're an expert in Three.js or CAD, Python, React,
Node, and WebGL.
You've built products that depend on seamless user input for their success
(e.g. gaming, graphic or interface design tools etc.)
You excel in a fast-paced, start-up environment and have experience in a
venture backed start-up in a key engineering role.
You have impeccable UX/UI/product design taste.
You're a hardcore problem solver and can devise creative solutions to
seemingly insurmountable problems.
You're hard working and a team player.
