STAR Pods is creating the first practical PRT (Personal Rapid Transit) mass
transit system that will be profitable without subsidies.
We're looking for an experienced engineer and team leader to help lead the
technical design, the technical team, and the R&D of the prototype. This will
include design of the guideway, design of the vehicle, and all other aspects
of the technical design.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the enginering team.
* Analyze hypothetical designs to help make system design decisions.
* Design systems of components for the vehicle and guideway.
* Build and assemble components to be used in the system.
We are currently looking for funding and need someone willing to commiting a
significant amount of time to working with the team for several months until
funding is secured.
STAR Pods focuses on Crowd Transit. Their company has offices in Los Angeles.
