Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team Founding Engineer. Our dream
Developer has a unique blend of expertise: the technical knowledge and skills
to scale our platform and the passion to revolutionize education by
transforming how we tackle student mental health and well-being. You will play
a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform and driving our mission
forward.
**Responsibilities:**
* Technical Leadership: As the Founder Engineer, you like ownership and are not afraid to advocate for technical approaches and can clearly communicate the whys and outcomes / result / consequences.
* You will work closely with the executive team to align technology strategies with the company's mission and goals.
* Full Stack Development: You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, should you be stronger in one or the other, you're able to oversee a fellow engineer / freelancer.
* You should be proficient in a wide range of technologies and frameworks.
* Innovation: Drive innovation in software development, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies. Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
* Architecture and Scalability: Architect and design scalable, reliable, and secure systems that can handle the increasing demands of our platform as it grows.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including collaborating with our awesome customers, teachers, and taking on board pilot feedback and seeing them win and succeed to translate their feedback into technical solutions quickly.
* Code Quality: Ensure code quality, maintainability, and security through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
* Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools that can enhance our platform's capabilities and user experience.

**Qualifications:**
* Passion for education and a deep commitment to improving student mental health and well-being.
* 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong track record of building and maintaining complex web applications, ideally at a start-up
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Excellent knowledge of web programming languages and technologies, including but not limited to Typescript, JavaScript, Express, Node.js, React, Python (for AI) , MongoDB.
* Experience using Google Cloud
* Bonus: AI experience
* Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
