Job Description

**Responsibilities**

* Develop and implement new user-facing features using React.js
* Design and implement new backend features using Python and AWS (or Azure, GCP).
* Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

**Qualifications**

* Thorough understanding of React.js and modern front-end build pipelines and tools
* Strong proficiency in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework (such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid)
* Understanding of database principles and experience implementing and working with databases
* Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
* Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
* Strong unit test and debugging skills
* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
* Familiarity with AWS services, deployment and management tools including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda. Alternatively: familiarity with comparable services on another major cloud provider (e.g. Azure, GCP).

**Preferred**

* Strong interest in learning about artificial intelligence and building AI systems for the enterprise

**Education and Experience**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 3+ years of experience in software development
* 2+ years of experience with React.js
* 2+ years of experience with Python and AWS (or similar cloud provider)
