### Roam is building the first true Gaming-Based Social App.
Roam is the TikTok for games; a game-driven social app, where every creator,
artist & influencer can make unique multiplayer games for their fans in
minutes with the help of AI.
Roam's business model lets anyone create unique multiplayer games that include
marketplaces, advertising, music, and branding, generating them revenue and
engagement. Roam aims to replicate the success of Epic Games and Roblox (whose
user-generated platforms work with 1000s of brands & creators annually and
have hit valuations of $50.4 and $21.2 billion) … except allowing every non-
technical person to build unique personalised games in minutes.
Unlike these platforms that are limited to technical game developers, Roam
provides tools for anyone to build personalised games, enabling 10,000x more
games to be built annually by every creator & social media user out there.
### Roam Today
Roam game makers include **Rick & Morty, Batman, Harry Potter, Lego Movie, Tom
& Jerry**, 64 similar IPs as well as > **250 Content Creators with 138M+
audience reach** who have committed to making games on Roam. We’re signing new
creator rosters on a daily basis (and everyone is very keen to join).
Our existing team is **Ex-EA, Glu, Amazon** , has built over 50 games and
worked in the creator space for the last 7 years. We’ve onboarded $750k in
credits from **NVIDIA & Google Cloud**, and will close our $2.5M seed in the
next 60 days.
### How We Work
* We have an insanely high talent bar ([A players only](https://twitter.com/founderspodcast/status/1665442439715225600?s=46&t=PK-vWojaLurY6eXl341Thw)) and the goal is to run a tight [10X team](https://x.com/alexisohanian/status/1668990946296442883?s=46&t=PK-vWojaLurY6eXl341Thw).
* The goal is to make Roam a decacorn in the next few years. It needs your skills, heart and soul. Transparently, this means 9am-9pm, 7 days /week. We’ll go in-person post-seed round.
* While there’s a lot of work, so will be the equity you get and a monthly salary following the close of the round. Everyone is all in and we’re aiming for greatness.
* If you like working on interesting concepts for fun over nights and weekends, do hackathons, and can ship quickly- this role is probably the right one for you.
* Past experience in Consumer-App/ Gaming/ Creator Economy companies is a plus, but not needed. If you love games, AI & consumer products, this is probably for you.

**1: Founding Full Stack** 💻:
* Full-stack work in MERN.
* *Native Android and iOS app building.
* DevOps with AWS Services EC2, S3, Load Balancing.
* Building new & integrating existing Gen AI tools within platform & and unity.
**Compensation:** $100-150K & 1-3% of equity
We’ve built out the base layer of the platform, integrated AI environment
generation, set up the game building flow, finished 80% of backend and have a
testflight.
