### 1\. Overview
We are building Grace – a vertical SaaS to empower one of the most fragmented
industries in the country: Construction. Our vision is to build an All-in-One
platform to manage the entire lifecycle of Construction projects. To achieve
this vision, we are starting small, step by step. We are a small team that is
passionate about redesigning what software experience should look like for the
hardworking builders of physical economy. This year, we have built our V1
product, acquird paying customers, and raised a pre-seed funding.
We are looking for a Founding Engineer who is a **Front End Wizard** to join
our adventure. This is a critical role that will set the foundations for our
engineering team. It means setting the bar in execution pace and quality, and
contribute to how we grow our team. It also means into contributing to core
architecture decisions, processes, as well as setting cultural values.

* Front end: React and Typescript
* Back end: Ruby on Rails
### 3\. Who you are:
* You love coding, shipping, learning and iterating
* This is an Individual Contributor role, **not** a Managerial role. You are expected to roll up your sleeves and code
* You are exceptional in building frictionless user experienece that simplifies complexity
### 4\. Your technical capabiliites
* Full stack software engineer with super power in front end web app development
* Thoughtful system design skills. You are able to understand complex specs and recommend a scalable, maintainable system architecture
* You are able to decipher when to optimize Speed (scrappy) vs. Robustness (quality)
* You understand backend. You can actively contribute to how data structure and model should look like, what API end points are needed, and how to best design API contracts
* Strong understanding of complex data structure and relationships
* 0 to 1 product development experience

* You are hungry and ready to work hard in the trenches. If you want to join start up because it seems "cool" \- you won't last. Our days are filled with balancing across coding new features, iterating existing features based on user feedback, P0 bugs/issues, scoping out new features, and more. ### 6\. Logistics
* This role as a paid, **Contract basis first** with an opportunity to convert to Full-Time
* Open to remote
* Strong plus if located in the Bay Area
