Job Description

**About Tapply:**

Imagine a world where 1-on-1 coaching tailored to your specific needs was as
routine and affordable as calling a cab. This is our mission. Tapply aims to
democratize expert networks by bringing micro-consulting to the masses in the
same way Uber did for taxis.

Our initial product lays the groundwork for this larger vision by first
unlocking the potential hidden within one's pre-vetted network. It enables
users to quickly tap into their vetted personal networks for targeted advice
and knowledge in a seamless and scalable way. Starting here allows us to lean
on existing networks for our initial liquidity, while training and testing the
more advanced AI model needed later on our existing user base.

We are in the midst of a huge paradigm shift. The rise of freelance and remote
work is reshaping how we work, while AI is simultaneously reshaping what we
are capable of. One only needs to follow the trend lines to see that the
future of work will be increasingly decentralized, peer-to-peer, and on-
demand. Tapply is positioned for where this puck is going, and we aim to be a
pioneer and leader in this space. With much of our strategic roadmap and
product discovery in place, our focus is now on execution and hiring top
talent to that will help us accomplish these ambitious goals.

**Role Overview** :

We are seeking a highly skilled and resourceful hacker who’s laser-focused on
launching quickly. Yes, knowing how to polish, scale, and meet market
standards in the eyes of the customer will be important once we have traction.
But until then, the only KPI that matters is cycle time! Rapid iteration is
the name of the game, and real iteration can’t start until we have something
in customers' hands. We aim to get a very simplified version 1.0 in their
hands within 4 weeks of you coming onboard. To that end, you should always
look for new ways to leverage AI to ship faster. Claude should be your best
friend!

So yes, your aptitude is important, but your resourcefulness and your mindset
is what will make you stand out. The question should always be — what is the
most impactful product/feature I can ship and get in people’s hands in the
next month? It’s important to note that knowing this requires you to have a
deep understanding of the company’s vision, and short/medium term goals at any
given time. So having good communication and organization skills is also
critically important.

This role isn't for everyone. Joining an early startup comes with high risk
and high reward. You should take on this role if you believe in our vision and
think your equity will be worth much more than any market salary.

**Company Status:**

The Founder and CEO has been working on this problem for three years and has
been building Tapply full-time for the last year and a half. We raised a small
F&F round and are now raising another $500k. We have an alpha version live in
TestFlight with around 150 users. We also have significant upgrades fully
wire-framed and ready, allowing the founding engineer to start immediately. We
expect to launch to app stores within three months from the day you join. Our
goal is to raise the pre-seed round within a similar timeframe, and if we
execute as needed, we plan to raise a $6M-$10M Seed round within 12-18 months.
