Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Founding AI Engineer to join our
team. In this role, you will work closely with the Founders' office to develop
and fine-tune large language models (LLMs), ensuring they meet our high
standards for performance and accuracy. You will be instrumental in driving
our AI initiatives, contributing to both strategic planning and hands-on
implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Founders' office to define and execute the AI strategy.
* Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) to optimize performance and accuracy for various applications.
* Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.
* Design and develop scalable AI solutions that meet business requirements and user needs.
* Perform rigorous testing and validation of AI models to ensure robustness and reliability.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members as the team grows.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing and new products.
* Communicate complex technical concepts and project updates to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
* Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
* Proven experience in developing and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs).
* Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* A positive attitude and good temperament, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
* Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment.
* Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
