**Overview:**
NoxuData is on a mission to empower everyone to access and understand their
data. We help business teams at consumer and packaged goods (CPG) companies
(like Pepsi, Kraft Heinz, etc.) analyze their data conversationally on our
platform without relying on a data analyst.
We are led by [David](https://www.linkedin.com/in/lee-david3/) (Former
Founding Engineer of Seek AI, which raised $7.5M in seed funding; Senior SWE
at Oracle) and [Dae](https://www.linkedin.com/in/kimdae/) (ex-Microsoft AI
strategy, former strategy consultant for CPGs). We raised $500K from leading
investors (Madrona Venture Labs, Gold House Ventures) and plan to raise our
seed round early in 2024.

**Who we’re looking for:**
* You want to be the Founding Engineer and first hire at a startup in its most formative phase. You are excited to collaborate with a tight-knit team but also desire autonomy and ownership to build products from the ground up
* You possess deep customer empathy; you are motivated to create products that deliver tangible value to our users
* You are gritty, coachable, and insatiably curious
* You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field
* You have 1+ years of software engineering experience and are proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, etc.)
* You are based in and authorized to work in the United States
**What you’ll do:**
* You will work full stack across all mission-critical areas of the Noxu product, including new features and improvements to the core platform
* You will interface directly with customers and founders to ideate and design solutions for our customers
* You will help grow the engineering team, eventually working with and mentoring other members of the technical staff
**Nice to haves, but not required:**
* Experience building products from the ground up
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and our current tech stack (Python / Javascript)
* Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and fine-tuning
* Based in Seattle / willing to relocate to Seattle and work from our office downtown 2 to 3 days a week
