**What is ARI:**
We are building the next-gen clothing shopping experience. We're focusing on
building a recommendation system that detects nuanced personal style through
numerous variables as well as conducting sentiment analysis over chat-bot
conversations with our avatar ARI. ARI returns personalized clothing product
recommendations sourced across the entire internet through vector search for
users. We are also exploring how to implement this recommendation system with
a user experience and product features to effectively shift user shopping
behavior.
Partnered with industry giants William Morris Endeavor and IMG Models and
backed by early investors such as 1517 VC, Z Fellows, ex-CPO of Hinge, CS
faculty @Stanford, AI/ML lead @ Apple, CTO of Linktree, ex-CMO of Bella
Hadid’s Kin, @andrewyeung among others, we are positioned to win. We currently
have an MVP built and are onboarding + collecting feedback from a small subset
of our growing waitlist.

**Your Role:**
We're looking for a Founding Engineer who is excited to build products from
0->1, builds fast, pivots easily, and is excited to build a Unicorn with us.
You will have the opportunity to help shape the architecture of our code base,
define our infrastructure, and make product decisions. From day one, you'll be
an integral part of the team. We hire engineers with a broad set of technical
skills and eager to solve a wide range of engineering challenges. Our ideal
candidate has a strong sense of ownership and enjoys owning projects from
inception to scaling in production. If selected, you can expect competitive
equity and high autonomy and impact. We plan to support a hybrid team, however
we are based in NYC with HQ office in Chelsea if in-person is preferred.
**Ideal Candidate:**
Experience: 2+ years in software engineering (flexible)
Background in early-stage startups preferred
Track record quickly shipping high-quality products at scale
Ability to turn product ideas into engineering solutions
Highly motivated
