**Position Overview** :
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who
is also willing to become a co-founder to join our founding team. The CTO will
play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape of our startup,
driving the development of our AI-powered educational platform, and leading a
team of engineers to bring our vision to life.
**Key Responsibilities** :
* Technical Leadership: Lead the overall technology strategy and vision for the company, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
* Product Development: Oversee the development and continuous improvement of our platform, from concept to execution, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
* Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* AI and Machine Learning: Drive the development of AI and machine learning algorithms to personalize learning experiences, improve content recommendations, and enhance user engagement.
* Technology Stack: Select and maintain the appropriate technology stack, tools, and infrastructure to support our platform.
* Technical Strategy: Define and execute a technology roadmap, ensuring that our product remains at the forefront of educational technology.
* Data Security and Privacy: Implement robust security measures and ensure the privacy of user data, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
* Budget and Resource Management: Manage the technology budget, making informed decisions about resource allocation and cost-effective solutions.
* Product Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the technology into the overall product and user experience.
* Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and edtech to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
**Qualifications** :
* Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
* Proven experience in leading and scaling technology teams, ideally in the edtech or AI industry.
* Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science.
* Strong proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to the tech stack.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and mentor the team.
* A track record of successful product development and innovation in the edtech sector.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a technology strategy.
* Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in the field.
