**Role**
We're a fast-moving startup seeking an exceptionally talented AI/backend
engineer to join our founding team. You'll enjoy complete autonomy to develop
innovative AI products that address real customer challenges. Your
responsibilities will include designing optimal system architecture for
delivering our AI powered search engines, analytics, and A/B testing
pipelines. You will build, test, and deploy software to manage, operate, and
enhance our high-throughput web application and data pipelines, along with the
associated cloud infrastructure.
**Responsibilities**
* Rapidly prototype, test, and deploy AI and backend systems.
* Work closely with the founding team to ideate and build new products.
* Develop and implement machine learning models, natural language processing, and other AI capabilities.
* Analyze data to improve performance and extract insights.
**Requirements**
* 5+ years of experience building production backend systems.
* Deep understanding of modern web languages, API, frameworks, and databases.
* Fundamental understanding of cloud computing concepts (serverless, scalability, microservices, high availability, and durability)
* Fundamental understanding of AI/ML concepts including, model architecture, data curation, training, inference, evaluation pipelines, RAG
* Strong math and analytical abilities.
* Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* BS/MS in Computer Science, math, or a related field preferred.
