**WHAT YOU 'LL DO**

* Lead a team of 8-10 seasoned and savvy engineers in the U.S. and Poland.
* Guide the professional growth of engineers, providing relevant and timely career guidance and feedback.
* Develop a deep understanding of Box's business goals and tie your teams' objectives and key results to them.
* Develop plans for execution and be responsible for the on-time, high quality delivery of products to customers, like[ Box Relay](http://box.com/relay), and[ File Request](https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360045304613-Introducing-Box-File-Request).
* Build empathy between product, design and engineering to foster a culture of excellence.
* Align, coach and inspire team members to excel on [Box values](https://www.box.com/about-us).

**WHO YOU ARE**

* You have keen interest in helping people grow their careers with a people oriented leadership style.
* High ownership mentality is a must – as a manager, you'll be expected to consider any Box problem to be your problem.
* You are passionate about technology and like to stay updated with the latest trends.
* Strong grasp of customer-facing feature development in a modern, microservice-based development environment.
* You are able to build alignment and execute on new technical ideas.
* You have 3+ years experience leading engineering teams and cross-functional projects.
* You have 5+ years technical experience building full stack web applications or distributed systems.
