### About TaskTag:
TaskTag is the all-in-one construction project management app. Assign tasks,
track projects, and organize files all through chat…it’s that easy! Collect
and organize all of the information you need to keep the job on track. Just
tag the project and send a message to check in on progress, schedule a
meeting, and assign tasks.
**Responsibilities:**
* Code Review and Contribution – This includes daily writing code, implementing features, conducting code reviews, and actively participating in the development process.
* Will work closely and regularly with the software development and product teams to deliver high quality, scalable products used by customers around the world.
* Jira management – story point estimation, sprint planning, clearing blockers, keeping developers accountable for the sprint work assigned. Distribute workload among developers every sprint (2weeks).
* Scrum Master – Lead offshore Daily Standup meetings to help clear blockers & keep developers on track.
* Daily working closely with management team, QA team, & DevOps to deliver features and fix bugs.
* Translating customer feedback and needs into code requirements
* Feasibility studies - Assess the technical feasibility of proposed features or changes. Work closely with engineers to understand the complexity and potential challenges with implementing functionalities.
* Scalability studies – Keeping up with emerging technologies and industry trends. Should be aware of new tools, frameworks, and practices that can enhance the product's capabilities or efficiency.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years of professional software development experience.
* Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails development.
* Extensive experience with React Native for mobile app development.
* In-depth knowledge of GraphQL for building APIs.
* Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL databases.
* English - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our engineering teams are distributed globally. Bonus: • Experience with AnyCable Pro for real-time features.
* Familiarity with Elasticsearch for search functionality.
* Proficiency in Redis for caching and Sidekiq for background job processing.
* Google Analytics
