This role will:
* Manage Revelle’s tech stack and engineering team, acting as the technical leader of the company and helping drive strategic goals
* Architect efficient and scalable systems that will support Revelle as its user base grows exponentially
* Monitor day-to-day performance of Revelle website, defining and tracking metrics to keep ourselves accountable to larger business goals
* Own our technical product roadmap, collaborating with the broader team to ensure it aligns with broader business goals
* Build processes and establish best practices for test-driven development of our product using agile software development practices
* Collaborate with broader team to identify software solutions to business challenges, prioritizing and addressing incoming user feedback
* Establish site reliability infrastructure to support automation of bug detection
* Be a strategic partner with the Founder & CEO, helping shape the culture of the team from day one to create a company that people absolutely love working for
An ideal candidate:
* Has worked at a startup (bonus: a tech-driven, consumer-focused brand)
* Has built consumer-facing applications at scale
* Has built or been involved in constructing personalization algorithms
* Has strong opinions about how to optimize inbound product APIs
* Is excited to manage their own engineering team, but also isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get into the weeds
* Has a point of view and Is collaborative, is interested in finding creative solutions
