**The Team**
Our Frontend Team has a range of projects they work on and is responsible for
building core UI/UX features and solving platform issues. This involves areas
including user onboarding, native application development, frontend
infrastructure, and design system integration. We’re looking for someone with
a deep understanding of frontend engineering with a passion for both quality
(craft, reliability, etc.) and velocity (business impact, rapid iteration,
scrappiness/pragmatism, etc.). The ideal candidate will also be able to
operate both at a high level (strategy) and get into the details (hands-on
coding, coding reviews, etc.).
**Your Role**
* Design and implement technical solutions for various frontend engineering projects
* Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems to allow us to scale the code base, drive productivity, and develop the team
* Drive effective collaboration processes between backend engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams
* Connect overall needs of the business with short and long-term technical vision
**Required Qualifications**
* 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a frontend/full staxk capacity
* Advanced TypeScript expertise and experience building applications in React Native. Our current technology stack includes:
* Frontend: React, React Native, TypeScript, Expo, Storybook
* Middle: GraphQL, Rust
* Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, AWS, PostgreSQL
* Startup experience with a demonstrated ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft
* A track record of owning and shipping high-quality products
* An ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
**Nice-To-Have Qualifications**
* Experience as a technical lead
* Experience mentoring junior engineers
* Experience with GraphQL
