ApplyMassLight is hiring a team-focused engineering lead to work with a maternal
and women's health organization. If your primary interest is as a head-down
coder, this position probably isn’t the best fit. You'll need to collaborate
with stakeholdres, mentor junior engineers, architect technical solutions,
engage with users, and think like a business owner.
The ideal candidate would have some of the following:
* Strong engineering background in React, Node.js and AWS Serverless (Lambda) deployments
* Ability to see the future! Always looking for blockers and unblocking them before anyone even bumps into the issue. Includes requirements collection, resource optimization and assignments, architectural design issues, and defining “what matters” in a public way.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with founders and customers
* Ability to tease out the right requirements and understand business value in a deep way.
* Excellent documentation skills tracking metrics and progress for projects.
* Ability to focus on highest value any day whether that’s communication, organization, documentation, testing, coding, or other.
