### **Director of Sales (RIA Fintech Startup)**

do this by empowering those advisors to create a truly customer-centric
investing experience and remove the operational burdens that have held them
back.
We're currently looking for a Director of Sales to be part of our growing
company. While we are headquartered in NYC, this position can be fully remote.
You'll be working with a small team of people with deep financial services,
technology, and start-up experience, who are at the forefront of wealth tech
innovation and committed to politely disrupting a $7+ trillion industry by
enabling advisors to earn and grow trust every time with every client.
**Job Description**
As Director of Sales, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing
our sales strategy to drive business growth. Reporting to the Head of Strategy
& Experience, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales pipeline,
from lead generation to closing deals. If you are passionate about sales,

**What You Will Be Doing:**
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy and specific tactics that align with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
* Define, refine, and improve the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement and document appropriate sales collateral, sales tools, CRM systems, and sales analytics to monitor and enhance performance.
* Build, manage, and lead a high-performing sales team by recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and developing top talent.
* Define clear goals, KPIs, and incentives to motivate the sales team and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
* Identify, target, and acquire new RIA clients. Generate leads, conduct outreach, and manage the full lifecycle of the sales pipeline.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within potential and existing clients. Understand their needs, challenges, and goals to tailor solutions effectively.
* Maintain a deep understanding of Seeds’ products and services, as well as the competitive landscape and industry trends. Use this knowledge to articulate the value proposition to potential clients.
* Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to improve the product offering, refine messaging, and enhance the end-to-end customer experience.
* Collaborate across departments to build out innovative systems to support the rapidly growing sales team and create solutions to gaps and inefficiencies in the sales process
* Partner with operations on data analysis and reporting and provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, including revenue forecasts, pipeline analysis, and key performance indicators.
* Ensure that all sales activities and agreements are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements.
**Qualifications**
* 7+ years of experience in a senior-level sales management role
* Demonstrated expertise in value-based selling within the financial technology SaaS sector, driving customer-centric solutions and measurable business outcomes
* Experience establishing a high performing and predictable sales engine
* Deep understanding of the wealth and asset management industries and financial technology and all aspects of RIA business management, including growth strategies, investment solutions, technology infrastructure, and operations
* Proven ability to establish and scale a sales organization, taking a hands-on approach as a player/coach in the initial phases to drive strategic direction and direct deal execution
* Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing sales operations and enablement functions, with the ability to effectively own these responsibilities until dedicated roles are established
**Compensation and Benefits**
* Base salary: $110k to $185k. (This broad range is due to the position being newly established, and we are open to discussing the commission/bonus, and base salary structure with qualified candidates.) Pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
